Is Child Obesity A Form of Child Abuse?
An interesting ethic question. I am on the side of "Yes, it is.", at least in the case of minor children. But parents alone should not be held accountable alone in the case of morbidly obese children. Over one third of a childs' life is lived AWAY from home and parents. Caregivers and schools must also be held accountable for not dealing with morbid obesity.

I agree with you. Given the amount of chronic disease that comes along with it, allowing children to become morbidly obese has similar ramifications to allowing them to smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol.
Yes it does.
